On June 1, 2025, the Justice Sports Team and the Ministry of Justice jointly organized the 3rd Angkor Cycling Program to raise funds for Jayavarman VII Hospital (Kantha Bopha III) and the Angkor tree and grass planting ceremony, which was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Keut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, and was attended by leaders and civil servants of the Ministry of Justice and leaders of the law firm, His Excellency Dr. Heang Makara, President, and His Excellency Kim Veasna, Honorary President, as well as members of the Royal Law Firm.
As a result, the 3rd “Angkor Bike” program raised 1,700,000,000 riel (one billion, seven hundred million riel), of which H.E. Keut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, brought 1,200,000,000 riel (one billion, two hundred million riel) to be donated to Jayavarman VII Hospital (Kantha Bopha III) on June 1, 2025, International Children’s Day, and 500,000,000 riel (five hundred million riel) was distributed to support soldiers stationed on the front lines as a way for the people to participate in Cambodia’s national defense. On the same day, under the leadership of H.E. Keut Rith, justice officials and friends of justice also participated in planting 1,000 (one thousand) trees in the Angkor area.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Keut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, also took the time to bring donations to provide 500 (five hundred) sets of school uniforms to needy students at Wat Reach Bo Primary School, including pants, skirts, shirts, socks, and shoes, as well as some funds for the school and teachers. The “Angkor Bike Ride” program for the cause of Cambodian children was launched under the initiative of His Excellency Keut Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, and has collaborated with the Justice Sports Team on two (2) occasions: in 2023 (the first time), 555,000,000 riels (five hundred and fifty-five million riels) were raised, and in 2024 (the second time), 1,500,000,000 riels (one thousand five hundred million riels) were raised.
